Urban Art Box began in 2018 in Los Angeles, California, as a personal sales venture run entirely by founder Sin Kim. Without employees, Sin personally visited local retailers to introduce products and build relationships. In 2019, the business leased a small store and hired its first employee, marking the start of its online sales journey and steady growth.
2021
Expanding into Movie Characters
In 2021, Urban Art Box took a major step forward by adding officially licensed movie character figurines to its product line. This expansion attracted more retailers, strengthened the brand’s reputation, and established the company as a trusted source for collectible merchandise.
2022-2024
Entering the Game & Multi-Character Market
From 2022, the company secured sales contracts for popular game character figurines. By 2024, Urban Art Box expanded further to include characters from movies, online games, and comics, enabling large-scale supply to retailers and fulfilling bulk orders with confidence and reliability.
